Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long will it take to receive my guest book?

Once your order is received, your book will be sent to production & ready to ship out within 1-2 business days.Delivery time will depend on the shipping method selected at checkout. USPS estimates 2-3 business days with standard shipping throughout the U.S. For Canada, FedEx estimates 2-7 business days & UPS estimates 2-5 business days for international shipping outside of the U.S and Canada. Please note that delivery estimations are not guaranteed and we are not responsible for shipping delays!

We highly recommend enabling notifications here on Etsy in the event that we have questions about your order. If we don't receive a message back from you, we will use our best judgment when creating the design to prevent further delays.

2. Can you engrave my custom design/logo onto a wooden guest book?

Of course! Once your order is placed, you can send us your custom design/logo via email at info@redberryguestbooks.com.To place your order, select the book of your choice & the "Engrave My Design" listing located in the "Guest Book Upgrades" section of our shop.From there, we will send you a proof of your order within 1-2 business days!

3. HELP! My wedding is coming up soon, can you rush my order?!

We are accustomed to working with tight deadlines & will do everything we can in order to have your order ready in time for your big day! We also offer express shipping options available at checkout in order to speed up the delivery time! Please be sure to turn on your Etsy notifications when you are placing your order in case we have any questions to avoid any delays.

4. Can I use my guest book with photos?

Absolutely! We highly suggest purchasing our 65lb cardstock paper upgrade if you plan on adding photos to your book.The cardstock option can be selected within the menu of all of our guest book listings.

5. How long does shipping take? (U.S, Canada, & International)

• USPS Priority Mail estimates 2-3 business days for delivery to all U.S addresses.

• UPS Express Mail estimates 2-5 business days for shipping outside of the U.S & Canada.

• FedEx International Ground estimates 2-7 business days for delivery to Canada.

Please allow a few additional days for customs clearance, as it varies per area. We will not be held responsible for shipping delays or customs clearance delays. International shipments will not be marked as "gift" on customs forms. Please keep a close eye on the tracking information for your package. We will not be held responsible for delays due to the postal service or unclaimed packages being returned to us.

6. What size book should I select? How much paper space is available to use?

For the 6x9 book, there is approximately 5.5" x 6.75" available space or 5.5" x 7.5" if you count all the way up to the binding (our cardstock option has ridges near the binding so that space cannot be used but for our standard sheets, it is).

For the 8.5x11 book, there is approximately 8.5" x 9.25" available space or 8.5" x 10" if you count all the way up to the binding (our cardstock option has ridges near the binding so that space cannot be used but for our standard sheets, it is).
*Please see our guest book sizing photo located within each listing of our shop to review each size carefully before making your purchase. Refunds & exchanges will not be issued if the incorrect size is selected upon checkout.

7. I received the incorrect or damaged item.

In the rare instance that your item arrives incorrect or damaged, please contact us immediately. Errors in the final product on our part will be replaced.


*PLEASE NOTE: Wood is a natural product. Knots, dark spots, & grain of the wood will vary naturally. While we do our best to select the best wood pieces for your order, we cannot guarantee that the book will be free of these naturally occurring variations.

8. Can you match my wedding invitations?

Once you place your order, simply send us an image or PDF file of your invitations via email at info@redberryguestbooks.com. Your order should include your book of choice as well as the "engrave my design" listing which you can find in the "Guest Book Upgrades" section of our shop.We will then have a proof sent to you within 1-2 business days.

9. What pens do you recommend to use with the cardstock paper?

Our cardstock paper is super versatile! You can use most types of pens or markers without having to worry about the ink bleeding through.We recommend staying away from ball-point pens due to issues with smearing. Personally, we love to use Sharpie Pens or PaperMate Flair Pens! For the black cardstock, we suggest metallic or white Sharpie pens!

10. Can I add or remove pages from my book in the future?

Simply unscrew the far-left hardware on the front of the book to access the pages once you remove the cover. You can then easily add or remove pages!

*PLEASE NOTE: If the paper quantity is drastically changed, the provided screws may not cater to the size of the book anymore. In that instance, please contact us to purchase new hardware!
